This professional clarinet is made with Hamilton plated keys, grenadilla body and special design.

Model & Series

• Yamaha YCL-CSG-A Series II (“CSG II”) clarinet in A key. 

• This is a “Custom” level clarinet in Yamaha’s lineup. 

• The “Hamilton” indicates the key plating is Hamilton-plated (a gold-nickel-copper alloy), which gives a warmer tone and very good durability.
  
  Body & Materials

• Made of grenadilla wood, which is prized for its tonal richness.

• Barrel and bell are also grenadilla.

• No metal ring on the bell, which helps contribute to a warm, resonant sound. 

Keys & Mechanism

• 17 keys and 6 rings (Boehm system).

• Key material: nickel silver, plated with Hamilton.

• Springs: Blue steel needle springs.

• Thumb rest: Fixed (non-adjustable) for this Series II model.
